About Nirmol Bangladesh

Established in 2017, Nirmol Bangladesh is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting environmental and coastal sustainability, social awareness, and community development. Through events, campaigns, and policy advocacy, we aim to create a cleaner, greener, and more inclusive future for Bangladesh by engaging communities, students, and stakeholders to drive impactful change.

Your Role as a Delegate

Event Management

  • Plan and execute events for national and international days.
  • Organize rallies and human chains for advocacy.
  • Coordinate logistics and secure campus permissions.
  • Lead tree plantation drives in your community.

  • Design and run awareness campaigns on campus.
  • Create engaging content like posters and workshops.
  • Author blogs for the Nirmol Bangladesh website.

What is the Campus Delegate program? +

The Campus Delegate program is a year-long, youth-led initiative that connects university students with the Nirmol Bangladesh team. It's a structured volunteer role (July 2026 - June 2027) where you act as our representative on your campus, leading events and campaigns to promote environmental and social change. It's a team effort, and we will guide and assist you throughout your journey.

What is the time commitment? +

The expected time commitment is approximately 7 hours per week. The role is designed to be flexible to accommodate your academic schedules.

Is this a paid position? +

This is a voluntary, non-contractual role. While it is unpaid, the program is designed to provide immense value through skill development, networking, and professional experience that will significantly benefit your future career.

What does the selection process involve? +

The selection process has four steps:
1) We review your application profile (Skills, Interest, CV, Cover Letter).
2) Shortlisted candidates are invited for a virtual interview.
3) Successful candidates will be asked to form a team with 7, 9, or 11 members.
4) Those who are able to form a team will finally get selected as Campus Delegates.

What should I include in my application? +

Your application should include an updated Resume/CV, a Cover Letter (max 500 words) explaining your motivation, and an optional portfolio showcasing any relevant work (event photos, blogs, etc.), which will be a real advantage for the candidate.
