🌍 Center for Climate Studies and Disaster Resilience (CCSDR)
The Center for Climate Studies and Disaster Resilience (CCSDR) is a dedicated operational entity addressing the urgent threats of climate change on vulnerable populations. The center leads robust climate vulnerability assessments, formulates disaster risk reduction (DRR) strategies, and pioneers community-based climate adaptation models across Bangladesh's most exposed geographical regions.
Key Activities: Rapid deployment for post-cyclone damage studies in Cox's Bazar, in-depth flood vulnerability assessments in Kurigram, and providing specialized geographic information systems (GIS) training for early-career climate professionals.
