Who is eligible to apply as a volunteer?

Any registered member (Student Member, General Member, or Life Member) can apply for volunteer delegations during an active open-call cohort period. If you are not yet a member, you can register during application.

What is the duration of a volunteer cohort?

Cohorts typically run for one working year (July 1 to June 30). Outstanding volunteers may be reappointed or promoted to lead coordinator positions.

How does the selection process work?

Applications undergo a 3-stage review: 1) Initial application screening, 2) Written assessment / Online questionnaire, 3) Interactive interview. Successful candidates receive formal appointment letters with assigned roles.

Do volunteers receive compensation or certificates?

Yes! All appointed volunteers receive verifiable digital certificates, performance-based badges, and variable remuneration for specific field research and outreach assignments.
